Art Show Prep

My very first art show in a museum will be in November of this year. Now is the time to prep and create all the things, and as I do this, I am definitely suffering from imposter syndrome. All I know to do though… continue to make the art I make and fully embrace my fun, whimsy, quirky style.

This is a little bird that I made live on social media a few weeks ago. I then thrifted this frame and painted it in this distressed red style. I snapped a pic of while it was just laying on my art table, and I really love the vibrant colors.

Every time I start to feel a bit overwhelmed by imposturism, I think about this little bird, and all the others in my flock. They bring me lots of happiness and many others have said the same. Leaning into that joy as I continue to prepare for the show this fall.
